Air India Flight Returns to Hong Kong Due to Technical Snag

An Air India flight heading from Delhi to Hong Kong turned back shortly after takeoff because of a suspected problem with the plane.

The pilot told air traffic control they wanted to return due to the issue.

The plane involved was a Boeing 787-8, the same type that crashed in Ahmedabad.

Because of the crash, officials are now checking all of Air India's Boeing 787 planes.

These checks have also caused flight delays.

Air India is expected to complete these inspections soon.
