Coimbatore Police Seek Land for Three New Stations

The Coimbatore city police want to build their own buildings for three police stations.

These stations, located in Kavundampalayam, Sundarapuram, and Karumbukadai, currently operate out of rented spaces.

The police are working with the city and district officials to find land, as they need enough space for the stations and parking.

They've already found land in Sundarapuram and Kavundampalayam, but are still searching for suitable land in Karumbukadai.

The new stations were created after a car blast in October 2022 and inaugurated in May 2023.
