Rain Industries Profit Jumps Fourfold to Rs 341 Crore
Rain Industries makes carbon products and advanced materials that other companies use.
The company shared how much money it made between April and June.
It earned four times more profit than it did during the same time last year.
Profit jumped from 83 crore rupees to 341 crore rupees.
The company also made more money from selling its products.
Sales revenue went up from 4,335 crore rupees to 5,167 crore rupees.
Higher selling prices and cheaper raw materials helped the company earn more.
The carbon business did really well, and so did the advanced materials business.
The cement part of the business did not do as well.

Revenue rose 17.4 per cent year-on-year to Rs 5,167 crore, coming in ahead of market expectations.
The Carbon segment, the company's largest revenue contributor, grew 17.9 per cent to Rs 4,021 crore on better price realisations and higher calcination volumes.
Advanced Materials revenue rose 26.3 per cent to Rs 1,198 crore, driven by higher sales volumes in chemical intermediates and resins.
The company remains cautious about the September quarter due to geopolitical tensions and uncertainty in logistics and commodity markets.
The Cement division recorded relatively weak revenue during the quarter.
