Pangsau Pass Celebrates Peace, Heritage, and Shared History

Pangsau Pass, a historic location on the India-Myanmar border, was once very important during World War II.

Now, it is a symbol of peace and friendship.

Recently, the 10th Pangsau Pass International Festival was held there.

The Deputy Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Chowna Mein, talked about the importance of remembering the people who helped build the Stilwell (Ledo) Road.

He also participated in a special jeep rally that went through old World War II landmarks.

The festival brings together people from India, Myanmar, and Southeast Asia to celebrate their shared history and culture.

The area has the potential to become a popular place for tourists who are interested in history and adventure.
