Carrier USS George H W Bush lacks food, water, soap

Aircraft carriers are like big floating cities used by the Navy, and lots of sailors live and work on them.

This story is about a ship called the USS George H W Bush.

The sailors on this ship have been at sea for more than four months.

The family members of the sailors say the ship is running out of important things.

They say there is almost no food, water, or soap left on the ship.

An independent journalist named Aaron Parnas talked to the families and shared what they said.

The families are worried about the sailors, and so are other people.

People are concerned the sailors might feel sad or stressed because of the shortages.

Another ship, the USS Abraham Lincoln, had similar problems reported before this.

This has made people pay more attention to how long Navy ships stay out at sea.
