Shark Tank India Rejects Two Startups
In the latest episode of Shark Tank India Season 5, two startups, Wrestlefanent and Sovrenn, pitched their businesses to the judges.
Wrestlefanent's founder, Nikunj, asked for Rs 75 lakh for 10% of his company but was rejected by all judges due to questions about his business numbers and model.
Sovrenn, a stock analysis platform, was presented by three founders with impressive academic backgrounds from IIT and IIM.
However, they also failed to secure an investment because their business lacked AI integration and had an unfair share distribution among founders.
Another startup, Multibagg.ai, which uses AI for stock analysis, secured a Rs 50 lakh investment from Aman Gupta.
The judges felt that Sovrenn's approach was outdated compared to the AI-driven model of Multibagg.ai.
