Coca-Cola Expands Sanket Ray's Regional Role
Coca-Cola is making some big changes in its leadership.
Sanket Ray, who is currently the president of India and Southwest Asia, is getting a bigger job.
He will now also be in charge of markets in Greater China, Mongolia, Japan, and South Korea.
This change is happening because the new CEO, Henrique Braun, wants to focus more on these important markets.
The company thinks Sanket Ray has the right experience to help them grow.
James Quincey, the current CEO, will become the chairman of the board.
John Murphy will keep his job as the chief financial officer and will work with the new CEO to help the company grow.
Sanket Ray, President of India and Southwest Asia, is elevated to Emerging Large Markets Lead, overseeing additional regions.
Henrique Braun will become CEO on March 31, 2026, succeeding James Quincey, who will become Executive Chairman.
Coca-Cola is creating two new market groupings to focus on Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
Sanket Ray will oversee markets in India, Southwest Asia, Greater China, Mongolia, Japan, and South Korea.
John Murphy will continue as President and Chief Financial Officer, overseeing global strategy and finance.
