Flipkart Considers ESOP Cash-Out Amid Staff Unease, Departures

Flipkart is thinking about letting some employees sell part of their company shares.

These shares are called ESOPs.

The possible sale could happen early next year.

Employees might be allowed to sell 20–25% of their eligible shares.

Only current employees with shares that became available three to five years ago may qualify.

Existing investors would probably provide the money for the sales.

Flipkart has not made a final decision yet.

It is also unclear how many employees would be able to participate.

The discussions come as the company faces staff unease and senior departures.
