UP Gov. Approves Driver Training Centers to Improve Road Safety
The Uttar Pradesh government is making driving education better to make roads safer.
They are building new training centers with modern technology, like simulators and automated tests.
These centers will give better training to new drivers and also help current drivers learn new things.
The goal is to reduce accidents by making sure drivers are well-trained and that the licensing process is fair.
This plan includes special provisions for women and people with disabilities, aiming to benefit everyone.
The UP government will establish IDTRs and RDTCs in 24 districts.
IDTRs will be large-scale facilities with advanced infrastructure.
RDTCs will offer induction and refresher courses, along with automated testing.
Automated tracks will evaluate drivers using sensors and video analytics.
