Uttar Pradesh Emerges as India's Second-Largest Economy
Uttar Pradesh, a state in India, has become the second-largest economy in the country.
The state's leader, Vijay Kiran Anand, shared this news at a big event called IEC 2025.
He explained that Uttar Pradesh is now making more money than it spends, which is great for the state.
The state has also seen a big increase in factories.
A decade ago, only about 500 factories were registered each year, but last year, that number jumped to 4,000.
This year, they aim to register even more, around 8,000 factories.
This growth is mostly because of a 20% increase in manufacturing last year.
It's like the state is building a lot more workshops and making a lot more things, which helps the economy grow.
Uttar Pradesh is now India's second-largest economy.
The state has become a revenue surplus state.
Manufacturing growth in Uttar Pradesh was 20% last year.
Factory registrations increased from 500 annually a decade ago to 4,000 last year.
The state aims to register 8,000 factories this year.
