Lok Sabha Adjourned Amid Opposition Sloganeering
The first day of the Monsoon Session of Parliament started with a lot of shouting from the opposition parties.
Because of this, the Lok Sabha had to stop its work and will meet again at noon.
The opposition wants to talk about some important things, like problems in exams and a new law to increase the number of seats in the Lok Sabha and reserve some for women.
They also want the Education Minister to resign because of some issues in a big medical exam.
The government has not allowed a big protest march related to this, but people are still protesting peacefully.
Lok Sabha adjourned until noon due to intense opposition sloganeering on the first day of the Monsoon Session.
Opposition parties demand discussions on alleged irregularities in competitive exams and other issues.
Government to reintroduce the Constitution (131st Amendment) Bill, increasing Lok Sabha seats to 850 and establishing 33% women's reservation.
Protests, including the 'Chalo Sansad' march, demand the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over NEET irregularities.
Delhi Police denied authorization for the protest march, but protests are ongoing peacefully.
