WBCHSE Revises Class 11 Supplementary Exam Rules
The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) changed the rules for Class 11 students who don't pass their exams.
Before, if you failed Semester 2, you had to repeat the year.
Now, starting in 2024-25, students who fail Semester 2 can take a supplementary exam within a month after the results are out.
If you pass the supplementary exam, you move on.
If you fail either the Semester 1 or Semester 2 supplementary exams, you repeat the whole year.
This change gives students another chance without immediately repeating the year.
