GHMC Sets Trade Licence Renewal Deadlines
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has told all shops and businesses in Hyderabad to renew their trade licences by December 20, 2025.
This deadline is later because of some election rules.
If you renew your licence between December 1 and December 20, 2025, you won't have to pay a penalty.
If you renew between December 21, 2025, and February 19, 2026, you'll have to pay a 25% penalty.
After February 20, 2026, the penalty is 50%.
You can find more information on the GHMC website.
GHMC has set December 20, 2025, as the deadline for trade licence renewals for 2026.
The deadline was deferred by 20 days due to the Model Code of Conduct for the Jubilee Hills byelection.
No penalty will be charged if licences are renewed between December 1, 2025, and December 20, 2025.
A 25% penalty will be applied for renewals between December 21, 2025, and February 19, 2026.
A 50% penalty will be applied for renewals from February 20, 2026, onwards.
