Odisha Launches Rs 8,884 Crore Industrial Projects
The Chief Minister of Odisha, Mohan Charan Majhi, started 20 new industrial projects in Rourkela worth Rs 8,884 crore.
These projects include 11 new factories and 9 projects that are just starting.
The goal is to create jobs and improve the lives of people in the area.
The government also signed agreements worth Rs 43,349 crore, which are expected to create almost 19,000 jobs.
The Chief Minister also gave land to a company called Vedanta Aluminium Ltd to build a big aluminium factory and a power plant.
The government wants to make sure that people in Odisha don't have to leave their homes to find jobs.

The projects include 11 inaugurations and 9 foundation stones, focusing on industrial development and job creation.
22 MoUs worth Rs 43,349 crore were signed, expected to generate 18,985 jobs.
The Chief Minister allocated 1,447.927 acres of land in Dhenkanal district to Vedanta Aluminium Ltd for a 3 MTPA aluminium smelter and 4,900 MW CPP.
The government's strategy aims to establish anchor industries and develop MSMEs to create local job opportunities and reduce migration.
