AU Signs MOUs With NRSC For Research and Development
Andhra University in Visakhapatnam has teamed up with the National Remote Sensing Centre.
They've signed agreements, called MOUs, to work together.
These agreements are about doing research and helping people learn new skills.
The research will explore things like where fish might be found using satellite data, understanding oceans, studying coastal areas, and using technology to manage wetlands.
Another part of the agreement is to help people learn how to use remote sensing and GIS technologies.
This collaboration aims to improve how we understand and manage our resources using space-based technology.
Andhra University (AU) signed MOUs with the National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC).
The MOUs are for research and development.
The event occurred during a science enclave in Visakhapatnam.
Research includes potential fishing zone studies and ocean state forecasting.
One MOU focuses on capacity building in remote sensing and GIS.
