Bike Taxi Association Welcomes Gadkari's Push for Private Two-Wheeler Operations

The Union transport minister has asked Indian states to let private motorcycle owners operate bike taxis.

The Bike Taxi Association supports this idea.

It says bike taxis could help many people earn money.

The association believes young people and people in smaller towns and villages could benefit.

The minister said as many as 8 crore people could find livelihoods through two-wheelers.

The association wants states to make decisions quickly.

It also says bike taxis should operate under clear safety rules.

The group hopes one nationwide framework will improve transport and create jobs.
