Rasikbil Mini Zoo Welcomes New Animals
Rasikbil is a small zoo in West Bengal that has added new animals and attractions for the New Year.
They brought in parrots, hill mynas, and a porcupine.
They also made new selfie spots and a park for kids.
The zoo already has leopards, crocodiles, deer, and many birds.
To handle more visitors, they added extra workers and a new bridge.
People from nearby areas visit the zoo every winter.
The government is also thinking about making Rasikbil a special wetland site.
Rasikbil Mini Zoo in Cooch Behar added 40 parrots, 4 hill mynas, and 1 porcupine.
New attractions include 2 selfie zones, a children’s park, and a temporary bamboo bridge.
The zoo already houses 11 leopards, 48 gharials, 263 deer, fishing cats, and various birds.
Additional workers and police surveillance have been deployed to manage increased tourist footfall.
The hanging bridge will be one-way throughout January for smoother visitor movement.
