J&K LG Announces 521 New Homes for Pak Shelling Victims in Poonch & Rajouri
The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, visited the border districts of Poonch and Rajouri to help families affected by Pakistani shelling.
He announced that 521 new houses will be built for these families, with 133 in Poonch and 388 in Rajouri.
The houses will be built by a non-profit organization called HRDS India.
The LG also provided jobs to some affected families and assured everyone that the reconstruction work will be done on time.
This comes after a recent increase in tension between India and Pakistan, which led to both sides targeting each other's territory.
