Mangalore Friends Build Curry Through Weddings and Original Music
Curry is a music group made up of three friends from Mangalore.
The members are Ashish Palanna, Ria D’Souza and Sumanth Shetty.
They now live and work in Mumbai.
Their songs mix Carnatic and regional Karnataka sounds with modern pop music.
The group plays at weddings and private events to earn money.
That money helps them make their own songs and music videos.
They became more widely noticed after performing at Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s sangeet.
Curry released its first single in 2024 and later released a four-song EP called “Suprabhata.”
