Kanpur Teen Kidnapped and Raped by Cop
A teenage girl in Kanpur was allegedly kidnapped and raped by a police officer and a YouTuber.
The incident happened on January 5 when the girl was dragged into a black SUV by two men, one of whom was in police uniform.
She was taken to a secluded area and allegedly raped.
The police officer, Amit Kumar Maurya, is still on the run, while the YouTuber, Shiv Baran, has been arrested.
The girl's family has received threats and is being provided security.
The brother of the victim is determined to bring the police officer to justice.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident in Meerut, the family of a Dalit woman alleges that the police are shielding the main accused, Paras Som, and blocking their communication with the outside world.
