Kandivli car shed glitch disrupts WR services
There was a big problem with the trains in Mumbai.
Workers were building a new train line, but they didn't get the right safety papers for a part of the track.
This made the train company, Western Railway, cancel many trains for two days.
On the first day, they canceled 102 trains, and on the second day, they canceled 30 more.
This made it very hard for people who use the trains every day to get to work or school.
The train company is trying to fix the problem so that trains can run normally again.
A planning lapse at Kandivli car shed disrupted Western Railway's suburban operations for two consecutive days.
102 local trains were canceled on Tuesday, and 30 services were withdrawn on Wednesday.
The disruption was caused by the suspension of entry and exit at the south end of the Kandivli car shed.
Engineers failed to obtain a mandatory 'line-fit' safety certificate for a newly built crossover.
Gradual restoration of services began following an early-morning safety clearance.
