June 2025: Celestial Events Including Venus, Meteors, and More

In June 2025, the night sky will feature several exciting events for stargazers.

Early in the month, Venus will be easily visible before dawn.

The Great Hercules Cluster, a group of stars, will be high in the sky.

The Arietid meteor shower, though happening during the day, might offer a glimpse of meteors.

The full Strawberry Moon will brighten the night.

Later, Mars and Regulus will have a close meeting, followed by the Lagoon Nebula reaching its peak visibility.

A new moon on June 25th will provide a dark sky for stargazing, and the Bootid meteor shower will offer shooting stars.

Finally, the moon and Mars will appear close together on June 30th.
