MCA Club BKC Food Services Shut Over Hygiene Violations

MCA Club BKC Food Services Shut Over Hygiene Violations

The food-safety department in Maharashtra inspected a Mumbai Cricket Association club in BKC.

It said the club had problems with food hygiene and safety.

Because of this, the department suspended the club’s licence to sell or serve food.

The club then closed its restaurants and other food services.

People can still use the club’s gym, swimming pool and sports courts.

Other Mumbai restaurants and clubs were also inspected.

Officials reported problems such as pests, unsafe storage and poor temperature control.

The establishments must stop food-related work until their licences are restored.
