Delhi's massive Red Fort security plan: snipers, NSG, anti-drone systems

On August 15, India celebrates its Independence Day.

The main celebration happens at the Red Fort in Delhi.

Because many important people come, the police prepare a very big safety plan.

This year, about 15,000 to 20,000 police and army members will be there.

More than 1,000 cameras will watch the area.

Special computers can recognize people's faces and car number plates.

Anti-drone systems will stop flying drones.

Snipers and Quick Reaction Teams will stand ready at watchtowers.

The Indian Air Force Band will play music at the National War Memorial.

The band celebrates the 150th birthday of India's national song, 'Vande Mataram'.
