Haryana Launches Digital Policing Campaign
The Haryana Police, along with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, have started a big campaign to clean up the internet.
They are removing bad links, fake apps, and posts that cause trouble.
So far, they have reported over 1,000 bad links and removed more than half of them.
They are also working to remove fake apps that trick people into giving money.
The police want everyone to be careful and report anything suspicious to keep the internet safe.
The Digital Police portal also helps people file complaints, track them, and get information about missing persons and stolen vehicles.
It makes police services easier to access and more efficient.
Haryana Police and MeitY launched a digital campaign to remove objectionable content and fraudulent apps.
1,018 objectionable links and profiles reported, 583 removed, 435 under review.
28 fraudulent apps identified, 14 removed, 14 under review.
Police urge citizens to report suspicious posts, links, or apps to the cyber helpline.
