Parag Milk Foods doubles cheese capacity with ₹105 crore investment

A dairy company in India wants to make twice as much cheese as it does today.

The company is called Parag Milk Foods.

It plans to spend ₹105 crore to make this happen.

Right now, the company makes about 60 metric tonnes of cheese every day.

After the work is done, it will make 120 metric tonnes every day.

The company will expand its existing factories, which is called a brownfield expansion.

More people in India are eating cheese, especially in cities and at restaurants.

Cheese is used on pizza, in sandwiches, and in many other foods.

The company's most popular cheese brand is called Go Cheese.

The project is expected to be finished by the financial year 2028.
