Delhi High Court Grants Bail to NewsClick Founder in Funding Cases
Imagine a news website, NewsClick, and its boss, Prabir Purkayastha.
The government thought they might have done something wrong with money from other countries, like breaking rules about how the money came in.
The boss and another person at the news site asked a judge for help.
The judge said they could stay free while the investigation goes on.
This is called anticipatory bail.
They had been protected from arrest since June 2021.
Now, the judge is deciding what should happen with the case.
The money issue involves accusations of overvaluing shares to get around certain limits.
