Tejasvee Ghosalkar Joins BJP After Resigning from Shiv Sena (UBT)
Tejasvee Ghosalkar, who was a leader in the Shiv Sena (UBT) party, has decided to leave and join the BJP.
She said she was having a hard time doing political work, helping people, and taking care of her family.
She also mentioned that the investigation into her husband's murder is moving too slowly.
Her husband, Abhishek Ghosalkar, was a former corporator who was killed in February 2023.
Tejasvee was appointed to a bank board by a senior BJP leader, which some people think might have influenced her decision.
This is important because it might affect the upcoming BMC elections.
Tejasvee Ghosalkar resigned from Shiv Sena (UBT) and joined the BJP on Monday, December 15, 2024.
She cited challenges in balancing political work, public service, and family responsibilities as her reason for resigning.
Tejasvee expressed disappointment over the slow pace of the CBI probe into her husband's murder.
Her husband, Abhishek Ghosalkar, was a former BMC corporator who was shot dead in February 2023.
Tejasvee was appointed as a director on the board of the Mumbai District Central Co-operative Bank by BJP leader Pravin Darekar in June.
