Bhopal Metro Station Construction Flaw Halts Work Ahead of Launch
Imagine building a really tall toy train track for a new city called Bhopal.
Just before people can ride the train, the builders noticed a problem at one of the train stops.
One of the tall pillars holding up the track isn't high enough for trucks to drive under easily.
So, the builders have to dig down the road a bit to make more space.
This is happening right before the train is supposed to start running, which has already been delayed a few times.
It’s like finding a small oopsie right before a big party, and they need to fix it quickly so everyone can have a good time on the new train.
A construction flaw has been identified at a Bhopal Metro station, necessitating road modifications.
The issue involves insufficient ground clearance at one pier of the Kendriya Vidyalaya station depot.
Authorities are lowering the road by approximately four feet to allow larger vehicles to pass.
The problem was discovered shortly before the Research Design and Standards Organization (RDSO) was expected to grant clearance for passenger service.
The Bhopal Metro, which has faced multiple delays, is currently scheduled to begin operations in December.
