Jeevan Ya Bheema Con? Review Finds A Wobbly Crime Comedy
Jeevan and his wife pretend that Jeevan has died so they can get insurance money.
They use the body of a lookalike named Bheema to make the plan seem real.
Soon, strangers, a gangster and an insurance inspector begin asking questions.
The story also involves stolen diamonds.
Arshad Warsi plays both Jeevan and Bheema.
His two performances help make the movie entertaining.
However, many scenes repeat the same lies and threats.
The review says the ending is easy to guess, so the film is fun in parts but not as clever as it could be.
Jeevan Ya Bheema Con? follows a couple who fake Jeevan’s death to collect an insurance payout.
Jeevan uses his resemblance to Bheema, whose body was substituted in the scheme, but the plan quickly unravels.
A gangster, an insurance inspector and the couple’s landlady become entangled in the scam and a diamond-smuggling plot.
Arshad Warsi’s double performance is praised as the film’s main strength, supported by Sanjeeda Shaikh and Vijay Raaz.
The review says repetitive writing, inconsistent humour and a predictable climax keep the film from reaching its potential.
