Political Tensions Rise in Andhra Pradesh
In Andhra Pradesh, there are big arguments between two political parties, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP).
The TDP leader, Palla Srinivasa Rao, says that YSRC supporters are carrying weapons like hunting sickles in public, which he thinks is scary and against the law.
He wants the government to take strong action against them.
On the other hand, the YSRCP leader, Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy, says that the Chief Minister from TDP, Chandrababu Naidu, is using his power to close cases against him.
He thinks this is not fair and plans to take the matter to higher courts.
Both sides are accusing each other of doing wrong things, and they are using legal ways to solve their problems.
TDP leader Palla Srinivasa Rao accused YSRC of fostering a culture of intimidation by carrying weapons in public.
YSRC supporters allegedly carried weapons like hunting sickles during a rally in Vijayawada.
Rao demanded strict action under the Arms Act against those involved.
YSRCP general secretary Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy accused Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of misusing institutions to close cases against him.
YSRCP plans to approach higher judicial forums to challenge the closure of cases against Naidu.
