Russia Exits Nuclear Treaty Amidst Rising Global Tensions

Russia is ending its agreement with the United States called the INF Treaty, which was about limiting certain types of missiles.

Russia says it's because of actions by the US and other Western countries, including missile deployments, that threaten their security.

This treaty, signed in 1987, helped reduce the number of missiles that could hit targets far away.

The US is now responding, with former President Trump ordering actions related to nuclear submarines.
