Wine Shops Open at 10 am Despite MLA's Rules
There's a big argument in Munugode about when wine shops can open.
The local MLA, Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, made his own rules saying shops should open only after 1 pm and be on the outskirts of towns.
But the excise department says shops should open at 10 am.
Some shops opened at 10 am with police help, which made the MLA's supporters angry.
They protested, but the shops stayed open.
The MLA's rules are only being followed in some places, and shop owners say they're losing money because of this.
