Two Workers Rescued Alive From Nepal Flood-Hit Hydropower Tunnel

Two workers were trapped inside a hydropower tunnel in Nepal after severe floods damaged it.

Rescue teams from the Nepal Army and Armed Police Force worked to reach them.

Sanjaya Sah and Kabir Maharjan were found alive after 10 days.

Sanjaya’s wife, Laxmi, was very happy when she heard the news.

She planned to travel to Kathmandu to see him.

The floods have killed many people and left thousands out of contact.

Some workers at other hydropower projects may also still be trapped or unreachable.

The successful rescue gives families hope that more people can be saved.
