Bhopal Sees 49 Murders in 2025

In 2025, the city of Bhopal in India saw 49 murders.

Most of these killings happened because of small arguments, old fights, love problems, and disputes over money or property.

Some of the cases were very shocking.

For example, a man was beaten to death just because he didn't give someone a bidi (a type of cigarette).

Another man was killed because he didn't give money for liquor.

There was also a case where a student was stabbed over a small fight about who would take petrol first.

In another case, a man killed his brother over a dispute about new clothes.

The police say that many of these murders happened because of sudden fights, drunk arguments, or long-standing hatred.

Some of the murders were also because of failed relationships.

In one case, a man strangled his live-in partner and lived with her body for two days.

In another case, a young man killed a 19-year-old girl over a one-sided love affair.

The police are trying to understand why these small disputes are leading to such brutal murders.
