Kerala Commission Orders Courier Officials to Pay Engineer Rs 41,000

An engineer in Kerala sent a parcel to his daughter in Hyderabad.

It had clothes, shoes, books, cosmetics and banana chips.

The parcel did not reach her, and the courier company did not return it.

The engineer and his daughter tried several times to find out what happened.

They also sent the company a legal notice, but the parcel was still not delivered or returned.

They took the complaint to a consumer commission in Thrissur.

The commission said the courier service had not done its job properly.

It ordered courier company officials to pay the engineer Rs 41,000.
