Sitharaman had also met officials from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and Russia.

India and Russia discussed a possible investment treaty and financial-services cooperation.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the BRICS countries adopted the New Delhi Declaration 2026.
