UDF Wins Bypoll in Thiruvananthapuram Corporation
In a recent bypoll in the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation, the United Democratic Front (UDF) won the Vizhinjam division by a narrow margin of 83 votes.
The UDF's Congress candidate, Sudheer Khan, received 2,902 votes, while the Left Democratic Front (LDF) candidate got 2,819 votes, and the BJP candidate received 2,437 votes.
This win increases the UDF's seat count to 20 in the corporation.
