Schools Closed in Jharkhand, Bihar Due to Cold
In Ranchi and Patna, schools are closed because it's very cold.
In Ranchi, all schools from kindergarten to class 12 will be closed from December 27 to December 31, 2025.
In Patna, schools up to class 8 will be closed until December 30, 2025.
The weather department says it will be very cold, with temperatures dropping to 8°C in Ranchi.
The schools are following the rules to keep the students safe from the cold.

Classes for students from kindergarten to class 12 in Ranchi district have been suspended from December 27 to December 31, 2025 due to severe cold wave conditions.
Classes for students from kindergarten to class 8 in Patna district have been suspended from December 27 to December 30, 2025 due to severe cold wave conditions.
The suspension applies to all government, non-government, and private schools in both districts.
The decision was made based on a warning from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting severe cold and cold wave conditions.
