Hyderabad Government Plans More Incentives For HILT Relocations

Hyderabad Government Plans More Incentives For HILT Relocations

The government wants factories that create pollution to move outside Hyderabad’s Outer Ring Road.

It created the HILT Policy to help make this happen.

The plan would change many old industrial areas into places for homes and other developments.

So far, only about 120 companies have shown interest in moving.

Factory owners worry that new land outside the city may cost too much.

They are also unsure whether they can sell their current land after moving.

The government may offer more benefits and will meet businesses and real-estate companies to discuss the plan.

Officials hope to move at least half of the companies before an investment summit in December.
