Yogi Government Improves Ayushman Bharat Claim Settlements
The Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh is working hard to make sure poor people can get medical treatment without any problems.
They have a special health scheme called Ayushman Bharat, which helps people get free treatment in hospitals.
The government is making sure that hospitals get paid quickly for the treatments they provide.
They have reduced the number of pending claims from 10.75 lakh to just 3 lakh in one year.
They have also added more people to check the claims and more desks to process them.
This way, hospitals can keep helping poor patients without any delays.
The government has paid out ₹4,649 crore to hospitals in the last year, showing they are serious about helping both the hospitals and the patients.
The Yogi government has reduced claim pendency under the Ayushman Bharat scheme from 10.75 lakh to 3 lakh in one year.
Over 2 lakh claims are received monthly from hospitals across the state.
The number of medical auditors has been increased from 40 to 130 to speed up the claim verification process.
The number of Claim Processing Desks (CPDs) has been raised from 100 to 125.
A total of ₹4,649 crore has been disbursed to empaneled hospitals between January-25 and December-25.
