Sterlite Technologies as Potential Starlink Partner
Starlink, Elon Musk's satellite internet, needs help to connect to the internet on the ground.
Sterlite Technologies (STL), a company in India that builds internet infrastructure, could be a good partner.
STL already has lots of fiber optic cables laid in India, especially in areas where it's hard to get internet.
Starlink's satellites send internet signals, and STL can help get those signals to the rest of the internet.
This could make internet faster and easier to get, especially in rural areas.
Sterlite Technologies (STL) could become a key infrastructure partner for Starlink.
STL provides end-to-end digital network solutions including fiber optics and network design.
Starlink aims to provide high-speed broadband globally via a low-earth orbit satellite constellation.
STL has deployed extensive fiber networks across India, including rural areas.
STL's expertise could help Starlink connect its satellite signals to the internet backbone.
