Lodha Calls for Collective Action to Make Mumbai Drug-Free

Mangal Prabhat Lodha spoke at an event in Mumbai about preventing drug use.

He said addiction can harm people and society.

He asked parents, teachers and social groups to work together to help young people make safe choices.

The event included counselling for students and training for teachers.

People attending also promised to avoid addictive substances.

Twenty-one schools, colleges, organisations and police officers were recognised for their anti-drug work.

The Drug-Free Mumbai initiative is planned to run for a year.

Lodha said young people can help make the city safer and drug-free.
