Power Outages Cause Disruptions in Chennai's Peripheral Areas
Imagine the lights went out in some parts of the city!
People in places like Medavakkam and Kundrathur didn't have any electricity.
Some areas had power back on, but then it went off again.
It was a tough night, especially since schools were reopening the next day, and kids couldn't sleep because of the heat.
Officials said there were some problems with the power lines, like a broken transformer, which caused the outages.
They fixed the problems, and the power came back on around 1 am in some areas.
