Sahakar Panel Wins Mumbai Cooperative Board Election Unopposed

Sahakar Panel Wins Mumbai Cooperative Board Election Unopposed

The Sahakar Panel won all seats on Mumbai’s Cooperative Board without an election contest.

This means no other candidates challenged them for the positions.

Twenty-one directors were elected for the term from 2026 to 2031.

Pravin Darekar led the panel.

The new board says it wants to make cooperatives stronger in Mumbai.

It plans to help cooperative societies solve problems.

It also wants to provide training and guidance to members and office-bearers.

The board says it will use more technology and work transparently.

Supporters said the unopposed result showed cooperation and trust in the sector.
