CRISIL Shifts IndusInd Bank Outlook to Stable as Earnings Improve

CRISIL changed IndusInd Bank’s outlook from Negative to Stable.

This means CRISIL sees the bank’s credit situation as steadier than before.

The bank’s existing long-term ratings were kept unchanged.

Its infrastructure and Tier-2 bonds retained CRISIL AA+/Stable ratings.

The bank also kept its top short-term rating of CRISIL A1+.

IndusInd Bank earned Rs 1,037 crore in the first quarter of fiscal 2027.

Its profits improved partly because credit costs fell and operating performance strengthened.

The bank’s shares slipped slightly in the latest session but have risen substantially from their yearly low.
