Shreyas Iyer's Test Snub Fuels IPL Playoff Determination

Shreyas Iyer, the captain of Punjab Kings, was not chosen for the Indian cricket team's upcoming Test matches against England.

His coach, Ricky Ponting, was surprised and a little upset by the decision.

Ponting said that this snub has made Iyer even more motivated to do well in the ongoing IPL playoff games.

The selection committee, led by Ajit Agarkar, chose other players like Abhimanyu Easwaran, Karun Nair and Sai Sudharsan instead.
