WayOUT to Honor Dustin Lance Black, Alaska, and Others at 2025 Gayla
A group called WayOUT is giving out special awards to recognize people who have made a big difference.
Some of these people include a writer named Dustin Lance Black, a drag queen named Alaska, a singer named Leland, and a comedian named Jon Lovett.
This will happen at a big party called the Gayla on November 15th.
The party is also a fundraiser to help a place called Sweet Evening Breeze.
This place helps young LGBTQ people who don't have a home.
The party will have fun performances and auctions to raise money for this good cause.
WayOUT will present its 2025 Impact Award at the upcoming Gayla on November 15.
Honorees include Dustin Lance Black, Alaska, Leland, and Jon Lovett.
The event will be held at Avalon Hollywood.
Proceeds from the Gayla will benefit Sweet Evening Breeze, a Louisville-based organization providing housing for homeless LGBTQ youth.
The event will feature hosts Darby Lynn Cartwright and Alexis Bevels, performances by Caroline Kingsbury, Zoe Ko, and Fena Barbitall, and live and silent auctions.
