Gurdaspur MP Randhawa Receives Death Threat from Alleged Lawrence Bishnoi Gang
Gurdaspur MP Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa got a scary message on his phone saying he and some others might be in danger.
He thinks the police haven't been helping enough, so he asked the central government for more help.
He also said the police should be protecting people, not stopping newspapers.
Gurdaspur MP Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa received a death threat via a US mobile number, claiming to be from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
The threat message included names of Balkaur Singh (Sidhu Moosewala's father), singer Mankirat Aulakh, activist Gurmeet Bablu, and liquor businessman Aman Jaintipur.
Randhawa has previously complained about threats and the conduct of Punjab Police officials but no action was taken.
He has written to Union Home Minister Amit Shah about Punjab's law and order situation and urged for an MHA-led task force.
Randhawa criticized Punjab Police for detaining newspaper vans instead of neutralizing gang networks.
