Citilinc Employees Threaten Strike Over Unpaid PF Dues
Citilinc is a bus company in Nashik, India.
Workers there say they haven’t been paid for years and don’t have things like uniforms or insurance.
Their union, led by Sudhakar Badgujar, told the company that if they don’t fix these problems in 30 days, the workers will stop working.
The union wants the company to pay old money, give new uniforms, and make sure new hires were chosen fairly.
The company has not yet responded, so the workers are worried they might have to walk away from their jobs soon.
Citilinc employees threaten a strike if demands are unmet within 30 days.
Union demands include unpaid Provident Fund dues, bonuses, uniforms, insurance, DA, holiday pay, and gratuity.
Employees also want an eight‑hour workday and an impartial inquiry into post‑2025 recruitment for Manager and Traffic Controller roles.
The union cited a July 15 meeting where the administration allegedly failed to act on these issues.
Union leader Sudhakar Badgujar warned that failure to comply will lead to agitation and a work stoppage.
